Personal: Virginia Trip 1

It’s been a busy and crazy few months. I believe my summer is best described as nomadic. I feel like we’ve been packing up our suitcase ever other week to travel. We’ve been extremely blessed to have so much to keep us busy! With all the travel and booked photo sessions I’ve neglected our own personal photos. So get ready – the next few posts will be featuring our personal photos from our summer thus far.

The below pics we took when we went to northern Virginia in May to photograph a wedding, a newborn session, and a family session. We stayed with James’ family for a week and had fun exploring the area again with Eli. Unfortunately that week Eli got a terrible cold and he couldn’t breathe well due to congestion- so the day of the wedding I had James and his family take Eli into urgent care. Luckily it turned out to be nothing too serious but medicine was definitely in order. We did however still get a chance to go visit the park while we were there. Eli LOVED it and it was perfect for kids his age. Looking back I probably shouldn’t have put him in the “careful I bite” tee shirt when going to the playground. (No wonder the other mothers were looking at us nervously- hahaha!) All in all it was a wonderful trip. Hard to believe how much my baby boy has grown since I took these pics in May. So glad I like taking photos- enjoy!
