The Bursch Family

The other weekend I had my last holiday family mini-session. I’ll be posting later about the whole experience, but for now I want to highlight my last mini-session- the Bursch family. Allison had contacted me via email to see if I’d be interested in squeezing their family in for a session- and of course I was thrilled to get them in! The Bursch family had a recent addition to their family and they wanted to get some family portraits of the whole family. When I met the Bursch family I was instantly greeted by their son. Not only was he a cute little 3 year old but I could tell this little boy was quite bright. I loved his intrigue by the photo taken process. He curiously asked me, “so where do you stand when you take the photos?”.  I explained that I would probably be standing from multiple distances for all kinds of different shots. I then asked if he would like to do a test shot with me so he could see for himself. To this he replied, “oh yes!” I loved it! And his little sister was so sweet and precious. Only being 2 months old she braved the camera like a champ.  I had so much fun photographing the Bursch family and getting to know them. By the end of the shoot I felt like I had made new friends – not just new clients. Below are the pictures from our mini-session family shoot, enjoy!
